Guust Verpaalen at Benelux Energy Innovation Day Solar

On 19 May, Guust Verpaalen presented our vision and cutting-edge technologies on colored solar panels at the Benelux Energy Innovation Day ‘Solar’ in Brussels.

Enjoy the after-movie!

The presentation was a great success, and it was a pleasure to meet Walburga Hemetsberger, CEO of Solar Power Europe, and give her our new sample box!

With 30,000 jobs, a turnover of 3.5 billion euros, fifth in the EU in terms of solar energy production, and a reduction of six million tons of CO2, the Benelux countries are together on their way to becoming a leading solar energy region within the European Union.

The positive effect on the climate and economic opportunities, innovation, further growth, and ambitions of solar energy were at the core of the Benelux conference.

The Dutch Minister of Climate and Energy Rob Jetten highlighted, “Innovation is critical to make solar energy competitive.”

The Belgian Federal Minister of Energy Tinne Van der Straeten stressed that we must act now to achieve energy independence and make Europe more sustainable and resilient.

Luxembourg Minister of Energy Claude Turmes added that having an industrial strategy focused on local sourcing is also key.

Kameleon Solar offers innovative and aesthetic BIPV as the solution to make our cities more sustainable and meet the goals set by the REPowerEU plan presented by the European Commission.

A new dawn is shining on solar energy; let it enlighten beautiful solar facades.
