Art on solar panels during the prestigious Masterly – the Dutch in Milano

Masterly – the Dutch in Milano is the pinnacle of Dutch design. Therefore we consider it an honor that Kameleon Solar was approached to participate. From the 16th to the 21st of April you can find us in the Palazzo dei Giureconsulti in Milan, Italy. Especially for this exhibition we joined forces with the famous artist Dominic Brown, who transformed functional solar panels in an inspiring way into unique works of art.

Solar panels as high-quality art

Artist Dominic Brown translated the evolution of solar panels into a beautiful collection of artworks. By showing and experiencing that even high-quality art comes into its own on fully functioning solar panels, we hope to inspire and encourage architects, property developers and building owners to include such solar panels in their facade designs. This will make the energy transition greener as well as more beautiful.

Design freedom

During the exhibition, we show how solar panels can be colored in at least seven different ways. Clients can influence the colors and performance of the panels themselves. The color and/or print as well as the shape and size of each panel can be adapted to the design of the facade. Our own, special design software also ensures that the light emission on the entire panel is the same. This creates the perfect combination of design freedom and safety.

Artist Dominic Brown

Dominic Brown is a well-known, Dutch artist who uses mixed media in his work. Many will be familiar with his murals, such as the large painting he made at the entrance to The Hague Central Station. He also makes independent work, which can be seen at home and abroad.

Masterly – the Dutch in Milano is part of the Milan Design Week (Salone del Mobile) and shows the work of over one hundred Dutch designers and companies.
