Customized Solar Panels

Custom sizing
You can customize the size of your PV module down to the millimeter. Use our Solar Suite to create your module, where you can instantly see the optimal cell layout for your custom size. You can also contact us to design the modules for you. This ensures a perfect fit for your project without compromising performance.
Shapes
You can customize the shape of your PV module to match your project’s design. While various shapes are possible, it's typically recommended to keep the cell matrix uniform for consistent performance. Additionally, avoiding sharp corners is advised, as they are more prone to breakage and can be hazardous during handling.
Reflectivity / matteness
The level of reflectivity or matteness of your PV module can be customized to suit your design preferences. Different types of glass with various surface textures are available to create specific levels of reflectivity or matteness. Additionally, we can apply certain color technologies to the outer layer of the module to further enhance the matte finish, giving you precise control over the final appearance.
Cell matrix design
The cell matrix of your PV module can be fully customized in size and position to meet your specific needs. We can add space between strings of solar cells to create semi-transparency or adjust the matrix position to avoid shading, to fit the module within a profile, or to achieve semi-transparency through partial printing. However, we typically recommend using regular cell matrices, where the number of cells per row or column is the same.
Optimal junction box placement
The placement of the junction box on your PV module is somewhat dependent on the design of the cell matrix. However, if a custom location is needed, we can re-route the current to accommodate this. We offer various types of junction boxes that provide flexibility in the final placement of the connectors. Additionally, it’s possible to split a module into multiple cell matrices, allowing for multiple connectors if required.
