How do your panels handle extreme weather conditions?
Kameleon Solar panels are designed to withstand a variety of extreme weather conditions, including high winds, heavy snow, hail, and intense UV exposure. Our glass-glass modules are highly durable, with glass on both sides providing superior resistance to physical stressors like wind and sandstorms. These modules also have low degradation rates, maintaining over 85% of their power output after 30 years, making them a great choice for long-term installations in harsh environments.
Our panels also use Maxeon solar cells, which are known for their resilience. The cells’ solid metal backing ensures that even if micro-cracks form, the panel continues to function effectively. Maxeon cells are certified to resist hailstones up to 45 mm in diameter, offering excellent impact protection during severe storms.
Additionally, ColorBlast technology uses ceramic inks that are tempered with the glass, making them scratch-resistant, weatherproof, and highly durable. These inks retain their vibrant color for over 50 years, even under constant exposure to harsh environmental conditions, ensuring that your panels remain both functional and aesthetically pleasing over time.
